Rules For Image Usage

You are allowed to use any of my stock photography or my self portraits for reference in any art work.

Photomanipulations are allowed if not otherwise stated. However, I limit the use to this extent. They may NOT be used in photomanipulations that exhibit exploitation or hate against any race, religion, ethnic or sex. They may not be used in images of horror, gore, or violence. I have nothing against art or artists that enjoy that genre, I just do not care to have my work involved. Dark art, fantasy scenes, are just fine.

Work created from my images & photography may be sold by the artist as prints or original work, but they may NOT be used in commercial work. You may NOT sell your work containing my work to be used for advertising or other commercial uses. Exceptions are possible, depending on the usage and the model involved. Please contact me to discuss further should you want to use them commercially.

I do require that I be notified and if at all possible, I would like to see the work. Credit is naturally expected where due.

2009-02-25 [Skydancer]: Excellent. Our next big work will be to teach you how to get the most possible from your camera. What is the make and model?

2009-02-25 [Cillamoon]: It's nothing really special. Sony Cybershot DSC-S700

2009-02-25 [Skydancer]: You would be amazed at what you can do with even a low end camera, its all in learning how to best use its abilities and work within its limitations. I will go find the manual, we need to see how to set the self timer on it so you do not have to keep shooting into the mirror.

2009-02-25 [Cillamoon]: Oh! I know how to set the self timer, you'll see as I get farther along in the uploading process that I figured it out finally, it was just mainly that I didn't have anything tall enough to set it on so that it would get my entire body in the shot. I have a 5 second and 10 second timer on it.

2009-02-25 [Skydancer]: ah... good, well one thing is you need to be able to set it on its end, as that is the best format for full body standing, sitting, etc. A bag of rice or beans can help with that if you do not have a tripod. Then to, its auto focus will focus when you press the shutter, not when the timer fires, so you have to have some thing, a chair or such in the space where your body will be at the time you start the timer for it to focus on, then move the chair and stand where it was.. Thats best for sharpest focus.

2009-02-25 [Cillamoon]: Okay, sounds good. All the ones that I am uploading today, or at least most of them, were taken in the same room. Unfortunately the mirror was dirty so they may seem a bit fuzzy. But eventually you'll see a different room that has a much clearer look for the photo.

2009-03-11 [Cillamoon]: Yes, that way I can still do a crossover for the Snow White project I am making, and still use the images for Her Darkness for the vampiric feel.
